Law of Attraction and Alcoholism

law of attractionHave you have seen the movie The Secret, or are you interested in the Law of Attraction? You may be wondering if there is a way to use this approach to help you quit drinking alcohol.

The main idea behind The Secret is that your thoughts are responsible for how your life has turned out. Whether you were aware of them at the time, or not.

When it comes to an alcohol addiction, phrase your thoughts in terms of what you WANT TO HAVE in your life, and NOT what you want to AVOID.

Thus, do not let your mind primarily dwell on the many reasons to avoid drinking. Don’t focus on how in the past you had gotten sick or wasted money or lost a job. Because that puts your attention, focus and energy on that which you do not want in your life. (article continues below)
